The Incredible Story of Volturno Morani

In this section of the site you will read about the history of Volturno Morani and the PPI (Don Sturzo’s Italian People’s Party), his battles against the DC of the time that was about to experience a season of corruption later revealed by Tangentopoli. A story that is at times still undecipherable and ended with his departure from Naples to save his life and that of his family.
In the work TRASFIGURATION entered this story. The work is inspired by the stretch of the Gospel in which Christ is transfigured into the Faces of the prophet Elijah and Moses. In the same way, Master Morani decides to identify himself with Moses, and attribute the Face of Elijah to Don Sturzo, the first founder of the PPI, identifying Elijah as the inspirer of Moses and the priest of Caltagirone as his inspirer in political action.
