LOVE BEYOND TIME AND SPACE, THE QUANTUM LEAP
The following is the story of the genesis of Spatial Neoconstructivism, the painting movement founded by Volturno Morani in Italy in the 1960s. The art market has never tried to tell the full story of the birth of this movement, because the founder clearly decided not to address the markets. He had a claim to speak a universal language that was ill-suited to the negotiations of art dealers, galleries, and critics. All artists are “presumptuous” by definition, and Master Morani was no different…but his was not just presumption, it was humility mixed with concern. It was, by his refusal to negotiate deals with gallery owners and critics, the concern of an artist who feared compromising the message of his art precisely because of art’s sworn enemy: vile money. But what is this universal message we find in these conceptual abstracts that characterize spatial neo-constructivism? Before investigating this, let us take a step back. Spatial Neo-constructivism was born from the union of two great schools of painting. The Eastern European Constructivism of the early 1900s represented by the Russian Malevich, the Hungarian Nagy and many others that is contaminated by the colors, geometries and meanings of Orthodox iconography, so much so that we speak of a true Neoiconography. Wanting to place the birth of SPACE NEOCOSTRUCTURISM temporally, it is likely to assume the year 1965. Not just any year for the author, in fact in that year he married Marina, his beloved wife, with whom he lives for eternity. I have not casually used the present tense to describe this relationship. That relationship lives on today, because it is founded on a relationship that has not ended, although from a miserably human point of view the Maestro passed away in November 2004, while Marina still lives in the lower Modena area among her children and grandchildren. That relationship is still present in the memories, prayers, works, hopes, thoughts, and hearts of those who loved with the Master while he was here physically.
Time and Space, iconographically takes up the Orthodox icon of Christ’s descent into hell. Icon of Easter. After death and before the Resurrection, Christ descends to the underworld to visit sinners. “I have come for sinners, not for the righteous.” That visit unhinges and overwhelms everythingbecause it takes place outside of time and space, in a dimension we cannot place today.He who is Love saves, from a hope that goes beyond the balances of TIME and SPACE of human perception. And love is the only thing we are capable of conceiving, as human beings, that transcends time and space, and Christ demonstrated this to us with his Quantum Leap into the underworld.Indeed we all demonstrate it too by loving our parents, grandparents, loved ones even when they are gone or more simply by loving a person even if they are far away from us. Yet we feel them here with us in various ways, in dreams, with perceptions, illusions, prayers. The Love Variable is that variable that imprinted in the human heart can enable us to do the greatest things. That is why we perceive and are also able to feel the real warmth of the people we love. That is why we have been created in His image in the likeness of what love is and have been placed at the center of the Universe, which even in its immensity is and remains an imaginary, physical, temporal, material, anti-material, real and ideal place in which we are and will all be. Bound by an equation solvable only with the variable Love. This is our GENESIS, our Who We Are our where we are and where we want to go. This is Cosmic Christocentrism, explained by Spatial Neo-Constructivism. This is the Meaning of Spatial NeoConstructivism… the unraveling of the mysteries of the Universe, which begins with the work of love that human beings will be able to produce.

And since all things are and come from one, by the mediation of one, so all things came into being from this one thing by adaptation.
